Message from the Head

I warmly welcome you to Porth Community School, I hope that this website gives you some insight into school life here.

I warmly welcome you to Porth Community School. We are very proud of the educational experiences we can offer your child and are delighted at the interest you have shown in our school. Choosing the right school is one of the most important decisions you will make as a parent or carer and we hope we can share with you all of the information you will need to make the right decision for your child.

Our vision for Porth Community School is to ensure that every young person has access to an inclusive, high quality education that will provide them with the skills and experiences necessary to fulfil their potential. We have high expectations of our pupils from their entry into the school and encourage them to choose aspirational pathways for the future. Our school motto ‘Aspire Together. Achieve Together’ sums up the ethos and values of our school – we work in partnership with all stakeholders to provide a challenging and supportive learning environment where all pupils have the opportunity to thrive.

Our dedicated team of teachers and support staff are fully committed to working with pupils across our school to provide high quality teaching and learning together with comprehensive and personalised wellbeing support. We pride ourselves on the positive working relationships we build with pupils and families to ensure every young person has the best opportunities to maximise their learning.

We acknowledge that educating young people is a great privilege and will always strive to give our pupils the very best experiences we can. Pupils are rightly proud to belong to our school and we are proud to sit at the heart of the local community.

If after looking at this website you have any questions, or wish to come and visit the school and see first hand what we have to offer, please do contact us. We will be delighted to show you around.

We look forward to welcoming you into our school community!
